I always envisioned owning and operating my own business. I’ve been recycling since I was a little kid and have been fascinated by waste. There are better, more efficient ways of handling trash, and I want to be a part of the solution here in Atlanta.

I have to admit, I am not the most disciplined recycler, and I am keenly aware that I have a long way to go to truly “B Green.” However, growing up in New York and attending college in California meant that recycling was always an option. When I moved to Atlanta, I was surprised by the limited possibilities for recycling – there are few public recycling bins, no cohesive city-wide recycling program and a general lack of awareness about the need for recycling. I am proud to be part of an effort to bring green to Georgia. As office manager, I put together detailed proposals for clients, process invoicing, assist with marketing efforts and volunteer at the various events at which B Green Services participates.

I can’t help it – I’m one of those people who carts recycling home from anywhere – work, a party, camping, the side of the road, etc. When I’m not recycling everything in sight, I love marketing, running, volunteering, working with people, etc., so it came naturally to work with Emil and Angela and B Green Services. I look forward to bringing together people and resources to increase awareness and action surrounding local recycling efforts in Atlanta.
