By recycling with B Green Services, LLC, you can start on your way to a variety of green certifications. Recycling and waste management are key components of these green certifications. Below is a sampling of certifications available to local Atlanta and Georgia companies and governments. LEED Certification through the U.S. Green Building Council is available for new and existing buildings. One of the considerations for certification is your solid waste diversion program, and recycling with B Green Services can help you earn and/or maintain LEED certification. Green Foodservice Alliance, a division of the Georgia Restaurant Association, offers green certification for restaurants, hotels, resorts and catering facilities, as well as the food operations of colleges, schools, and office buildings.  Click here for more information about 2009 GFA Certification.

Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) offers Green Communities Certification for local governments to encourage the adoption of green practices on the local level.  Visit Check out the ARC’s Green Communities website for more information. The next round of applications will be accepted in Spring 2010.

Green Globe International is an affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization and provides independently validated sustainability certification in compliance with ISO 17021.
